CHIETA – Chemical Industries Education and Training Authority

The Chemical Industries Education and Training Authority (CHIETA) is one of South Africa’s Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs), established to promote skills development within the chemical manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, energy, plastics, pharmaceuticals, explosives, glass, coatings, and related industrial sectors.

CHIETA works closely with industry, employers, government, and accredited training providers to develop highly skilled artisans and technical professionals who support industrial growth, innovation, safety, and global competitiveness.
